Group Supervision for Professional Members
We are happy to announce that the ATAS Research and Ethics Special Interest Group IC Dr Daphna Arbell Kehila will be conducting a monthly online group supervision for professional members of ATAS on the 4th week of each month. Each session, group members will be invited to bring a case for a discussion guided by clinical supervision framework, to support art therapy practitioners in mental health services to develop competent and ethical practice. Dr Arbell will focus on developing supervisees’ self awareness, case conceptualization skills, intervention skills, assessment methods, theoretical orientation, and ethical considerations. She will also introduce arts-based techniques that may help supervisee develop a rationale for the use of art making with clients, enrich reflective practices, elaborate the therapist’s process notes, and practice stress reduction protocols.
