Community Partnerships

The Community Partnership sub-committee aims to connect with members at the ministerial level (such as MSF, MOE and MOH) for possible collaborative and community outreach efforts to raise the recognition of art therapists as a profession.

  • Selected voluntary welfare organizations (VWOs) and special needs education settings will be earmarked to promote art therapy services.
  • Other possible community partners will include relevant associations such as Singapore Association of Social Workers, for mutual exchange of knowledge and expertise.

ONGOING COLLABORATIVE PROJECTS

The Community Partnership sub-committee team met with LASALLE on December 12, 2016 to discuss about collaborative efforts, CPD programs; and Red Pencil on January 12, 2017 to discuss about sharing data for research projects. Connections by the team during community events (i.e. with VSA Singapore, Singapore International Foundation etc.) were also followed up for future collaboration efforts.
